Kate Jackson was born on 29 October 1948 in Birmingham, Alabama as Catherine Elise Jackson to Hogan and Ruth Jackson. After high school she studied drama at the University of Mississippi and at Birmingham Southern University, after which she did summer stock at the Stowe Playhouse in Vermont.
Following that she studied at New York's Academy of Dramatic Arts while she earned a living selling skis, modeling, (she claims modeling is "the hardest work in the world"), and working as a tour guide at NBC.
She landed a role in the Soap Opera Dark Shadows, playing a ghost, and she recreated the same role in the feature film based on the series - but it did nothing for her career.(Good Housekeeping, 1985)
So she headed west to Hollywood. There she landed the part of Nurse Jill Danko on "The Rookies" (by prolific producer Aaron Spelling).
Later Mr. Spelling handpicked Kate to star in "Charlie's Angels" (Kate's run was from 1976-1979).
Some feature films followed, most notably, "Making Love". Kate went on to star in two other series; "Scarecrow and Mrs. King" (1983-1987) and "Baby Boom" (1988).
Kate married actor Andrew Stevens on 23 August 1978 and divorced on 4 January 1980. She met and married in 1982 David Greenwald, who incidentally ran her Production Company, but they divorced in 1984. Kate married her last husband Tom Hart in 1991, but divorced as well in 1993.
She has survived two battles with breast cancer. Once in 1987, and again in 1989. After a partial mastectomy and radiation, she won her fight and shared her experience to highlight the importance of mammograms. Also open heart surgery (she had a congenital hole in heart).

Ursula Andress

Ursula Andress as Honey Ryder, Dr. No, 1962
Rising from the sea in a white bikini, Honey was a Playboy centerfold in smooth motion. This first film in the series set the Bond-girl standard, as spectacularly embodied by Andress, the coolly carnal Swiss miss
Whether Ursula Andress made it to the Hollywood mainstream or not is a non-issue because many people who lived in the 60s era recognize her as one of the more memorable personalities of that time. The Swiss-born starlet, who was a 1936 baby, had a very colorful life. Andress tried to elope with her French boyfriend at 17, an occurrence that was highly opposed by her parents and eventually, took her to the movies. She chanced upon Marlon Brando once and soon was launched as a full-blown actress. On top of making movies, Andress also starred in some of the juicier gossips that linked her to fellow actors like James Dean. Apparently, she was with Dean when he purchased the car that ended his life. Oh yeah, this European actress is the original Bond girl. She played Honeychile Ryder in Dr. No, the father of all of James Bond's adventures
My Andress collection is simply not big enough in order to be able to create anything remotely looking like a complete overview over everything that’s been written about her. Besides: In her heyday she was the gossip columns’ favourite star, so if you come across society, TV or women’s magazines of the 1960s and 70s, chances are great that you’re bound to find *something* on Andress in a good number of them. Never mind the myriad magazines, books and articles dedicated to James Bond and her appearance in Dr. No.

So let’s cut to the chase. Here’s a list of the really important stuff, her most notable appearances in Playboy magazine:

Playboy 06/65: This edition was used to promote the release of Hammer’s SHE. It’s a 12 page spread of nude photos taken by her then husband John Derek. According to the blurb on the cover these are the first published nude pictures of Andress ever.
Playboy 08/65: 7 Andress pictures to promote What’s New, Pussycat? Woody Allen topless. Seriously!
Playboy 07/66: 8 pages, some of them also showing Jean-Paul Belmondo
Playboy 11/73: 8 pages again taken by John Derek
Playboy 04/76: The pictorial inside is titled “Incomparably Ursula”. On the cover it says: “Andress Undressed – The triumphant return of Ursula”. Was that the origin of the Ursula Undress joke or does that date earlier?

Gong Li

Quite possibly the finest Chinese-born actress of the last twenty years, Gong Li has proven time and again that she’s the best of the best. Born in 1965 in the Liaoning Province of China, Li always dreamed of becoming a singer, but when she was rejected from the country’s top music school, she enrolled at the Central Drama Academy in Beijing instead. Upon graduating, Li was introduced to famed Chinese director Zhang Yimou and cast in his latest film (1987’s “Red Sorghum”). Before long, the professional relationship became a romantic one, and Li became the director’s self-proclaimed muse, starring in just about every film he made during the course of the next ten years.
Gong Li picturesThe early ‘90s may have featured Li at her absolute best, but when her relationship with Yimou suddenly ended in 1995 (following the production of “Shanghai Triad”), so did her streak of award-winning performances. The actress’s first crack at crossing over to American cinema didn’t bode well either, and following a poor box office performance by the Wayne Wang-directed “Chinese Box,” Li returned to the world of Chinese cinema, where she was still highly regarded by her peers. Over the last few years, Li has made yet another attempt at conquering Hollywood, and while she’s certainly chosen more high-profile projects the second time around (“Miami Vice”), her most notable appearances have still been in Asian-themed films like Wong Kar Wai’s “2046” and Rob Marshall’s “Memoirs of a Geisha.” Unfortunately, while these performances should have marked the actress’ return to form, they were instead the focus of on-set controversies (especially in the case of the latter) that pitted the aging Li against youthful up-and-comer (and new Yimou muse) Zhang Ziyi

Gong Li's Most Revealing Moments in Film
Miami Vice (2006)  -  naked with her left breast on display while having sex in a guy's lap; briefly exposing her breast when getting into a shower with a guy
A Soul Haunted by Painting (1994)  -  disrobing topless in front of a steamed mirror, with her left breast visible in the mirror

These tabloid-worthy news stories may have affected her reputation, but they haven’t dampened her ability as an actress, and while Li remains an unfamiliar face among a majority of American moviegoers, we’re confident that this won’t be true for much longer.

Shu Qi

Shu Qi (AKA 'Qi Shu)'s Most Revealing Moments in Film
Iron Sister (1999)  -  skinny dipping with cute boobs & bare butt exposed
Viva! Island Girl (1999)  -  exposing breast outside by a cabin & by a waterfall
True Woman (1999)  -  full frontal and bare butt on display while posing outdoors
Sex and Zen 2 (1996)  -  full frontal while pouring water over herself in a tub; nude having sex on top; full frontal & bare butt on display while having lesbo sex

At 17, Shu Qi started modelling, with a face and body to die for, Shu Qi soon was doing nude picture series. Seing her face on a magazine cover, Hong Kong producer Manfred Wong tracked her down and became her agent. He signed her for Sex & Zen II, a category III (adults only, soft porn) movie.
After that Shu Qi starred in Viva Erotica, which won her recognition and several prizes. In 1997 her manager Manfred Wong told TIME: “If you’re an unknown and from Taiwan, there is no such thing as doing art and high-class films. Shu Qi knows if she doesn’t strip, she can’t be a star.”
After Shu Qi awards for "Viva Erotica", Shu Qi started getting roles in typical Hong Kong movies. She showed off that gorgeous body, she smiled her dazzling widescreen smile and she fluttered around as a no-brain butterfly (how Hong Kong movies see a lot of their female stars). But when Shu Qi was allowed to act ("For Bad Boys Only", "City of Glass" and "Portland Street Blues"), she showed enormous potential.
For a movie star to cross over from (soft) porn to mainstream is extremely difficult – and nearly unheard of in Hong Kong. For any actress anywhere to get good female roles with meat on them is very hard as well. When you see a good role – grab it fast. Shu Qi got the chance in "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon". Ang Lee’s first choice for the role of Jen (Zhang Ziyi got it) was Shu Qi. She was on board for eight weeks, before she was pulled by her manager Manfred Wong – to do a commercial for Coca-Cola in Japan!
If Wong succeeds in keeping her locked in the local industry’s churn-out-the-crap-fast way of doing business, we may never see Shu Qi live up to her full potential.
But there is hope yet. Leading roles in movies like Millenium Mambo, Beijing Rocks, The Transporter and several upcoming projects shows a tendency towards better roles to showcase Shu Qi’s talent as a powerful actress – and not just a knock-out body with a trademark dizzying smile. As much as we like to see 5-6 new films with Shu Qi every year, we would much prefer to see her in one or two really good films. For that to happen, Shu Qi would probably have to look outside Hong Kong. Luckily, several directors outside of Hong Kong and Asia are starting to be aware of, what Shu Qi can do. If she is lucky and chooses wisely, we may see her on the podium at a future Oscar-night.
Shu Qi is one of the most prolific and gifted actresses of our time, Shu Qi rose to the top of the Asian movie scene garnering multiple awards and critical acclaim along the way. Born on April 16, 1976 in Taiwan, Shu Qi began as a model for adult magazines and other erotic photography. It did not take long for her to star in various soft porn films, before eventually switching to mainstream films.
Despite having one of the most appealing faces in Chinese cinema, she has never learned English, and because of this has rarely appeared in films outside of China.
